Anyone know much about what's going on with the SS&P? Near as I can tell, they're not operating south of Oakesdale save for the occasional storage move. However, I see lots of evidence of track work south of Oakesdale; I even saw a truckload of RR ties headed east out of Palouse towards Potlatch a few weeks ago. I've no idea whether they're just keeping things maintained for WSDOT or if they're actually working on restoring service...
