Signals from various manufacturers are in use on the different lines where Metrolink operates. That said, signals that have separate bulbs for each aspect always have the specific aspects mounted in the same location in the signal head. For example, the signal in question at CP Topanga is a Safetran Model V-20R which has three separate bulbs configured in a "V" format; RED at 6 o'clock, GREEN at 10 o'clock and YELLOW at 2 o'clock. The specific aspects are always mounted in the same position. Only one aspect is lit at a time (except as noted in my previous post), and it's position on the signal head is easy to see even under lighting conditions where the aspect color may be questionable.
