Maybe SMART might be better about their spending now. They built a gold plate railroad. There is no reason for Class 4 tracks everywhere especially where those speeds will never be achieved. They spent way too much for custom brand new stations with custom locomotives. They very well could have purchased cheaper equipment and built a more reasonable priced railroad.

I agree that SMART needs better oversight. The board is run by well off to do people and mayors. I think they should have more oversight.
