I had to laugh because those two bombastic wordsmiths stand out to me the most on RYPN.
One time, Overmod said he and his colleagues had figured out who most of the anonymous members of RYPN were and considered “outing” them. Old Ross also said there should be no anonymous posters and the usual shite show ensued. Easy for a couple of wealthy old geezers with nothing to lose to use real names and demand everyone do the same. The rest of us have to work with no guarantee of job security. Being threatened with an “outing” by some pompous geezer is outrageous.
Did you also notice how several of the lawyer members all rushed to defend the distasteful behavior of one of the other lawyers on the board? Lawyers are something else. Self regulating profession indeed.
Again sorry for blowing up in my original post on WCamp’s words. He’s one of the good ones out there actually getting things done so I feel shitty about it now.
