I was talking with a UPS pilot yesterday. He doesn’t fly to China but he was telling me about the crews that do. He said they get a 2 hour medical clearance at the airport then they are driven in a sealed van to their hotel. When they get to the hotel they have to stay in their room and can’t go out. The HVAC in the hotel is turned off, so no heat or air. Room service leaves their food outside the door. From what they see out the windows of the van and hotel room is mostly empty streets.

China has restricted entry from some other countries and both UPS and FedEx are having to juggle crews based on which counties they have recently flown to. He did mention one of the countries China has banned travel from is S Korea. A popular place for imports to the US.

I haven’t made any lifestyle changes yet, except for hand washing more frequently, but I can’t stop touching my face 🙀. Luckily about a week ago we stocked up on TP at Sam’s Club.
