The NCRY master plan has a turntable and roundhouse in the wye in Niles. This would also be our museum so that the public would have better access to the collection. We talked about having three 4-6-2's with the 2467, 2472 and 2479 in there. Now it seems that the best we could do is only get the 2467 back from CSRM. So instead of three Pacific's how about three Moguls?

I don't know if the roundhouse will ever be built but it sure would be nice to get the collection out of the weather.

Thinking of the roster, we have the biggest SP locomotive collection of all the museums. As of right now, if you only look at SP engines, we have one more than the CSRM if we got the 2467 back.

1269 Class S12 0-6-0
1195 EMD SW900
1218 ALCO S6
1423 EMD NW2
1744 Class M6 2-6-0
2467 Class P8 4-6-2
5472 EMD SD9
5623 EMD GP9
9010 KM ML 4000

We know that WP Lives in Portola, but it also looks like SP Lives in Niles Canyon!
