Don't know if this has already been posted, but for the Angelenos here at AP, it was reported last week that Josef Lesser, founder of the Los Angeles Railroad Heritage Foundation passed away on February 28. When I still lived in LA, I attended a number of LARHF's functions and enjoyed the exhibits at Philippe's and the Old Spaghetti Factory.

Lesser just finished a book late last year called Hollywood's Trains & Trolleys. I ordered it and should be getting it later this afternoon. It looks like a good read.
