mouse, poorly designed/operated as it is, it IS the subway. It goes to at least many places I need/want to get to, Ripoff pricing aside, since I can't legally drive, it is as necessary as potable water and trash collection. Shutting it down (or striking by staff) are unconscionable IMHO.
