Here you see the sad remains of Pacer railbuses. Built as a stopgap until the Sprinters were ready, they stayed in service far longer than they should have, and are only now being withdrawn under upcoming disabled access laws and either scrapped or preserved (I can tell every heritage railway will have at least one by the end of the year).
