That's a good one. I didn't think about that one even though I read Phil Serpico's 'Jawbone' recently.
I guess we can stretch that concept to the limit and include the ultra short shoofly ok n Altamont Pass where the former WP diverts onto the old SP right of way to avoid a landside.
