The GP-40M2 units would arrive in Portland via UP from MK at Boise, they then went on to SP's Brooklyn Yard via a transfer. SP #7107, the first unit delivered in the SpeedLettering arrived in Portland's UP Albina yard the evening of March 25 1991. The following morning, March 26 1991, I photographed it outside of the Brooklyn Roundhouse. If there is an earlier picture of it on home rails, I have not seen it.
