It only ran for about 6 months, I think it was the late 80s that it ran. (Too long ago to remember.) I was there for the first load. Kombol who owns the mine is an acquaintance of mine. The autoracks are stored on that track they loaded out of.

They still have 7 miles of storage on the Veazie branch which offsets yard loss at Kanasket.
