Abloy Locks were the standard issue when I drove for Conway Western Express 1989 - 1995. A brass appearing ( maybe plated steel ??? ) housing with hardened pop - out hasp, and a U - shaped brass insert key. One keyed for all terminal gates ( except Salinas ) & drivers' room access, another keyed for trailer door locks. ( Salinas used a cheesy Master combination lock on the gate, as they shared a terminal with DiSalvo Trucking. ) The Abloy training video showed their lock surviving a point blank round from a .45 ACP !!! The drivers used to joke about those Abloys being stronger than the gate chains they secured !!!
