That's an excellent point, and absolutely correct. Plus, Metrolink has to contend with a lot of single track, and share most of it with freight trains. It doesn't work perfectly, but all in all, I'd say Metrolink does a fine job.
I fully support everyone's right to their own opinions, and their freedom to express them. But by the same token, if those options are based on illogical assumptions, then I think it's appropriate to question them.
In Mr. Bruce's case, I'm fascinated by his writings here, and enjoy reading them. I hope he continues posting. That said, if he's truly serious about his ideas and theories, he should make them known in a forum that's more appropriate than a railbuff chat room. But, I digress. I haven't dropped down the list to read what he's posted on the Big Thread today, so I'll do that know. Hold on to your hats . . .
