i remember that the original plan for the proposed baja port was to connect ensenada to tecate and then go through carrizo gorge. whatever happened to that idea and why? would love to see pictures of double stacks through the gorge. there was also talk of tijuana-tecate-ensenada passenger service.

also in yuma there is a right of way through town that continues south along the east bank of the colorado river. i think it is currently used by a tourist train. is up interested in this already established route? it is ex-sp.

and mexico going communist? ha-ha-ha-ha. there is a much bigger difference between rich and poor in mexico, which is pure capitalism, much more so than in the usa. no matter which so called 'populist' politician wins this or that crooked election, nothing will ever change.

but back to the railroad questions, why not carrizo gorge?
