Just as an FYI to Tony who thinks that press releases are the only source of information, my
employer sells to nearly every industrial user between the SF bay and the Oregon border, we can
tell you pretty much what every potential NWP customer is doing plus we've been on every update
of the bids for equipment being designed for the aggregate operations, so I'm telling you, it isn't happening!! You think I'm blowing smoke, wait'll the line reopens! I want someone with real
business expertise to come in and work with the affected locales and develop some online business
at a pace quicker that the state can run it out! Sure there's a chance that garbage can be hauled
out but inasmuch as I'm a party to the OEM building the required compactor for said garbage I can
also tell you that not much is happening. You can't afford to ship loose garbage and so far no has
come up with the bucks for a rail haul facility. As to the rock, it would take a real turnaround
in demand and then 2-3 years minimum to develop. The NWP won't have the luxury of that much time.
