From the pictures I've seen 1215 looks really great, I wish they all could look as good. As far as the windows go I think that the 1298 in Santa Cruz also has the extra window as well. That also brings up another question I had on SP style windows. I took a picture of the 1269 when it was operating at Sacramento a long time ago and it seemed to me that it had a non SP standard type of window frame. I believe it had four window panes instead of the one large piece of glass that SP used in the side windows.
