On Google satellite view, I can see a 100 foot washout just north of Morton and across from the Hampton lumber mill. But the track next to it is intact and not washed out. So I'm not sure why a train can't use that good track and run all the way into Morton and the Alta Forest Products mill is. Ideas?

What is meant by the comment, "Spanaway would have used rail out of Morton"?
