According to Progressive Rail report, they lost almost $200K in 2019 Watsonville operations on less than 300 switch carloads. 2020 is looking worse. Watsonville doesn't seem to have the freight volume and PGR is asking Santa Cruz to subsidize their operations if Santa Cruz wants a freight operation in Watsonville. Terrible volume...
