Car chase on TV Crenshaw line progress

South Los Angeles:

Last night on KTTV 11 (Fox), a police car chase of an ADW perp centered at Crenshaw & Slauson where the perp took the fuzz on a merry-go-round showboat run that circled a three block area that showed rail and wire in place on the former atsf line.

The last thing I read about the Crenshaw line was that they kicked the can to "late 2021" to complete.

What is the delay cause?

The change order scam ?

Underground suprises (not on any paper) ?

Covid ?

It looked to be very complete with a few parts with k-rail (the crossings?)

"Showboat" chases in south la are common. Folks of the area come out and cheer on the perp.

22:00ish last night (past curfew) included a group of 8 (one doing push-ups in the street) watching the law take the perp.

It was cool to see wire and rail in place!
