WRONG!!!!! That C&NW line was original built as a single track line in the mid to late 1800s. All the passenger stations were constructed on the North side of the line in order to shelter the passengers from the winter winds while waiting for a train into Chicago. When the second (and third) main track was added, they were NOT going to relocate all the depots, so the "outbound" main track, which was constructed on the south side of the original single main track, thus the line became "left hand running"
Has UP finally fixed that?
No. All the METRA commuter trains are still "left hand running".
