I forgot to mention that the entire 28 mile length of the Harbor District was Yard Limits, though many road freights operated over it. One, the "Elsie" was oil cans to and from El Segundo refineries and ran daily. Max speed per timetable was 20 mph, but many places it was 15 or even 10. Switching limits ran about eight miles out from Redondo Tower.
