Further update: it happens in Windows too.
The message is:
Quote:Blocked by Content Security Policy
An error occurred during a connection to www.popularmechanics.com.
Firefox prevented this page from loading in this way because the page has a content security policy that disallows it.
Only happens with that site in today's list, even when using "strict" tracking protection in Firefox plus a couple of extensions. Does not happen if, instead of just clicking, I open it in a separate tab or window (though of course I need to temporarily allow some scripts to get the page to display readably). BTW, my copy of Firefox does not have an option for always opening links in a new tab; it *does* have an option for opening in a new tab if it would otherwise open a new window. This particular link seems to do none of those.
I don't recall that happening in the past, which is why I wondered if something had changed besides the server. Anyway, thanks again for Trainnews! It's a good information tool.
And for Nudge: this has nothing to do with Altamont - it's trainnews.com. I've had a few minor technical problems in the recent past with Altamont as well, but they all seem to have self-corrected. Note that Altamont generally opens links in a separate window or tab by default, is it's not susceptible to whatever's causing this issue.
