My senior memory fog remembers a stranded E9 at the spencer event due to wheel damage from leaving a brake on (not sure what crew was responsible for that).

Ed Dickens did not "fix it" and left the E9 stranded because "36inch wheels are difficult to find" he said.

That went on for about seven months until Scott George showed up.

In short order,the unit had new wheels on it and the E9 was back home.

I always figured it was no big deal for a Jenks guy to fix the problem.
