Car A was on the Bartle to Hambone line. The original line into Pondosa connected with the main line at that point up until 1951/1952, somewhere in there, when the two McCloud companies replaced it with the modern line from Bartle over Dead Horse Summit. Car A was home to a section camp into the early ‘60s.
