Back in '69-'70 I was stationed in South Korea with Uncle Sugar's 12th Field Artillery.
Camp Casey had a huge PX with all kinds of bargains.
I bought a 35 mm SLR Canon Pellix, the model with slits in the mirror rather than a flip up mirror. It was stolen from my kimchi stand while I was on field exercise.
Bought a 35mm Nikon SLR.
And an Olympus Pen FT 35mm 1/2 frame camera. Way cool could get 72 pix on a 36 exposure film.
Sadly, digital cameras came along and the film biz died.
Gave the Nikons (I had bought 2) to my ex, and the Olympus to my son, for safe keeping.
Should the film biz ever come back, where it is possible to go to a store and get the film developed, my ex and son will be all set to go.
