My first real film camera, an Olympus OM 10, was a high school graduation present. It was my only 35 MM camera for 14 years, until it froze up on me in Coeur D Alene,ID. -- on July 4th, 1995. Fortunately I found a camera shop that was OPEN ( !!! ), and bought a Pentax K 1000. The shop owner told me Bruce Kelly shopped there; that was good enough for me.
I didn't know it at the time, but the Olympus OM 10 had a different exposure system than most cameras, which caused me to frequently over - expose the image. It did take GREAT night shots though !!! I also found out the film door was bent ever so slightly, allowing light to seep through.
