Yes, we did indeed set out the aux tank in a lumber yard siding, at Mountain View, CA.. However we were told they set an over-the-road truck an jacked up the end with the bot-box, and replaced the entire wheel, axle & journals right there on site. I can't imagine the SP towing it to San Jose with a badly burned up axle & journal bearing, in the high speed commute line.

At any rate, the aux tank arrived in LAUPT with more than enough time to switch it back in behind the main tender and refill it with water. Overall, the SP was great to work with throughout that whole trip.
