Confused about which line this is. I believe Washington Central sold all lines in the Yakima Valley back to BNSF sometime in the 90s? As I recall, originally there were three lines between Tri-Cities and Yakima, two NP, and one UP. The old main line of the NP is in service as a BNSF line between Auburn WA and Pasco via Stampede Pass. The other two (NP secondary and UP) are mostly abandoned, with some spurs remaining. The trestle in Prosser that just burned--is that on the main BNSF line? Or on one of the spurs?
