I was a little young for that memory on the Liberty Liners, but the Lackawanna Wickerliners lasted long enough for me to reach legal drinking age, so that I had the experience many a time on them of hearing a 1930s air compressor clicking away below me, while I downed a couple cocktails on the way home, experiencing open window air conditioning under the wires over jointed rail at high speed. It was something!!!!
