Ukiah trestle fire

Try opening the article in a non-private browsing window, worked for me. One photo, looks like a pretty good burn. Article does state the Great Redwood Trail along the tracks suffered no damage and remains open, but if Google Maps are to be believed that trail starts a few hundred feet south of the bridge and does not cross it.

Effect on the NWP? Right now none save for another black eye. Hasn't been a train there for about 22 years, not likely to be another one anytime soon, and if the line ever does get repaired that far north it becomes just another major item on the major repair/rebuild list.
