The discussion over at Railway Preservation News indicated that it'll be a cosmetic restoration only. Following that, it'll be relocated to the Evanston roundhouse for display.

$200,000 budget would cover cosmetics, asbestos abatement, et al.
Given today's pricing, an operational restoration would cost at least twice as much.

Then again, if they want it to steam again, just where would it operate??
