I was exaggerating a bit with the E0 in pre-95 cars. Really anything post 96 OBD 2 should have no ill effects with E10. Anything carburated wil suffer with E10, and fuel injected systems that don't have hard lines to the injectors, or lots of rubber fuel lines will be susceptible to accelerated wear to rubber components. And anything with a steel fuel tank. BMW amongst some others stuck with metal tanks quite late, where Chrysler for example was using plastic in the mid-70s.
