The Bullet car that OERM has is from the Bamberger RR in Utah. It a sole survivor and as such; the only single end and step equipped example left. The P&W has raised platforms at all stations due to the third rail. If MUNI wanted to run one they would have to make some serious mods.

One of the keys to the bullets long life is aluminum construction. No rust to deal with.
