I didn't realize the Philadelphia bullets were that big. In my fading memory they seemed about the size of a PCC. I do recall the elevated terminal in Norristown - it just ended abruptly, as if it had been bombed in an air raid. I think an interurban may have connected to it at some time in the past.

I guess this makes a pretty good argument for articulation.
