Why hydrogen?

To my mind it is like an admission they are too cheap for OHC and they don't believe batteries will pan out that well.

And if hydrogen storage containers are prone to deterioration and explosions do eventually occur inevitably expensive safety inspections and procedures will be mandated.

I am thinking the level of boiler inspections.
