When I was last in Chicago in June of 2006 (long wait between the arrival of the Capital Limited and the departure of the Empire Builder) I decided to get some shots of the elevated trains. For whatever reason, still unknown to me, there was an oversupply of Chicago cops and CTA cops at all the stations. Easy solution---go to the second or third level of some of the many parking garages and shoot from there.
