The Torrance ATSF spur to Torrance airport was pulled up in the mid 1970's. In the 1930's the spur only went to between Carson St and Sepulveda BL. During WW 2 the line was extended to the airport. The line to near Crenshaw and Toledo now Plaza Del Amo was for American racing and a few other companies now all condo's. When the line was removed new track was built through the Torrance Naval Annex across Crenshaw west to serve those now gone industries.
