This is in reference to The Fugitive TV series, (1963–1967).

At the 31:30 mark, you will see a Santa Fe PA pulling a fictional freight train. In this episode, a computer scientist is using a computer to predict Richard Kimball's next moves. It's artificial intelligence circa 1966... wow.

Screen capture below. They blocked out Santa Fe on the locomotive. But you can see a Santa Fe sign in the upper right. Location? Surely L.A.
