INPOA, Canyon sub to Cal-P routing

When the INPOA takes the Canyon sub route, how does it make the transition to the Cal-P to Oakland? Via Binny junction to Roseville? Via Haggin at Sacramento to the Cal-P? or WP through Stockton, Altamont to Niles? Does one crew take it all the way from Portola to Oakland? Thank-you in advance.
