Westside Model Company- Dick Truesdale article

There is a good article written by Jim Vail in the NOV-DEC 2008 Issue of Narrow Gauge and Short Line Gazette about Dick Truesdale & his Westside Model Company. No doubt a number of readers here have brass railroad engines and/or cars with this label.
Besides the obvious railroad interest, the article also mentions Dick's aviation background. He & my late father both flew with Pan American. There is a photo of Dick in the article sitting in an aircraft. I'll add that it was taken in February, 1945 and that the machine is an F4U Corsair, quite probably a -4 at that late stage of the war. Dick had over 700 hours in Corsairs. All in all, the article is a nice read about a fine individual.
