Has nothing to do with the children.

He could not take any credit for the restoration
and operation of the train, not to mention it's
upgrades (the hauler, the new engine in the locomotive,
the heat and air conditioning in the unit, and the
assigned crew), thus, like the 3985, it was very high
on his "get rid of it" list.
