I note the recent passing of Conductor James "Termite" Hasbrouck who was the Conductor, Rear Brakeman, and Head Brakeman probably most famous for working the west side PE branches, including Air Line, Inglewood, Venice, West Hollywood for much of his SP career.... I used to run into him regularly at the Original Whistle Stop, and worked with him many times on those branches, he was a wealth of knowledge on all things PE out that way.

I see that Mike Jarel who also fired and ran on the westside PE branches is going through his collection, and with the fine article Mike wrote several years ago about the branches in the SPHS&TS, it would be interesting to see an encore "history" with what are, I suspect, some interesting material from Jim's collection.
