He must not have taken No.14, at least not during the middle months of the year, and/or is just a late sleeper, to have come away with the notion that there's no scenery in northern California. (Mt. Shasta, hello?) Some actual photos or video taken FROM THE TRAIN of the deplorable conditions he describes would have helped support the title of his presentation, rather than just stuff taken from the ground, some of which doesn't even appear to be near a track. I suggest he book his next trip on the NEC between Trenton and D.C.
