I've visited California several times in recent years and, with the exception of the wildfires, saw, without riding the Coast Starlight, everything the video maker witnessed.

That said, it's a narrow-minded and stupid video and not even accurate. In the beginning of the video is a quick scene of Cannery Row in Monterey, which is not on the Coast Starlight route. Later in the video is discussion of the Central Valley, also not on the Coast Starlight route.
