Suggest punching Snohomish at Snohomish into GOOGLE, then scrolling down a few lines to NOAA's offering. Shows real-time reading at gauge. Yes, it is getting "interesting". BNSF Main becomes a dike.

Bridge usually stays open for sightseeing. Recommend parking on town side.
Mill and highway, between BNSF and river gets wet real early.
