In my travels around Tacoma today, I saw a BNSF Burro crane w/ clamshell, on the Beltline connection bridge trying to clear more debris from around the center pier. This @ about 9 AM. A little bit later, the crane went up to the crossovers @ 21st ST, then went back North on the center main. Several M of W types were still on the bridge looking things over. Water up to rail; on main tracks @ Reservation and between Tacoma & Puyallup along Pioneer Way. Lotsa trains in Tacoma yard; several cuts of double stacks possibly waiting to go over to Tacoma Rail yard.
Tacoma P.D. did indeed close the Lincoln Ave. bridge over Puyallup River, just after I drove over it !!! This is the next bridge downstream from BNSF bridge.
