Interesting. Google shows it here and lists the trail as temporarily closed and the tunnel as permanently closed. Apparently for some values of "permanent," not all. The tunnel was damaged, along with other things in the area, by the Eagle Creek wildfire. Work is now going on to stabilize the area and rebuild, including the tunnel.
