Thanks OPRRMS and Dr. Z. Thanks for the explanation. Now that big paved area makes so much sense.

Tie Pile area. I see a track 186 on the SPINS (this SPINS shows the 1965 TOFC ramp even though other pages show tracks that show up on the 1974 aerial photograph) called the Tie Pile Lead.
