I wonder about that 1965 date. The foreground looks like the northern part of the old produce market district that was bulldozed for the Golden Gateway project in the early 1960s, so it might be a tad earlier. But if it could also be where the Levi Strauss complex was built, north of Golden Gateway, a few years later. Got it placed. I could vaguely make out a Pier 15 or 16, and the street patterns work out right for here. So it's not within the Golden Gateway and could be 1965. that switch job may be working the yard where the Flying Scotsman was parked for a while.
